Zalo is one of friendly applications because users’ phone numbers were used to connect to others. Thanks to its popularity and convenience, Zalo has been exploited for public administration in some Vietnamese provinces. Many teenagers, young adults, and adults used Zalo to text messages to an individual or to a group. They were able to send text messages, photograph and audio files. Particularly, Zalo users were able to record online up-to-five minute talks and send directly to group members. Data show that once using Zalo to record talks, students had more opportunities to practice their talks. They were likely to send more recordings. Their speaking skills were improved faster. These findings suggest with small class size of the study, teachers should use Zalo to improve students’ fluency, accuracy, stress words and intonations.
